5 Ways to Boost Sales with Digital Signage

CCook

We all know the holidays are the most critical sales period of the year for many retailers, and we want to see you succeed! Here are five ways to boost your sales this season capitalizing on your digital signage:

1. Highlight special items

If you carry special products during the season that you’d like to showcase, don’t let them get lost in the hustle and bustle, give them a platform. Do that with your in house display, but also highlight them on your digital signage, particularly as customers enter your retail space so they know to be looking for those items.

2. Promote discounts

In the age of Google, your customers are already searching for discounts at your store online, so make it simple and promote those discounts on your digital signage in store. Not only will it add to their total experience, they’re likely to spend a little more and trust your brand as being transparent.

3. Feature community partners

Communicate your brand values where it matters and showcase your partners. For example, share Retriever slides for local non-profits like your area’s performing arts center or Humane Society. Sharing this information in your space gives your customer base a sense of community and humanity, especially if they support those non-profits too. They’re more likely to become raving fans of your business when they know that your values align with theirs.

4. Tell your story

People are hard-wired for story, and telling your company’s story gives your guests an opportunity to connect with your brand on a different level, tearing down the store walls and connecting the human beings on both side of the business. When we feel connected, we’re more loyal and are more likely to invest.

5. Provide helpful information

Integrating slides that have weather reports and news headlines amidst your promotional slides not only keeps your viewer engaged for longer with your signage, it lets them know that you’re about more than getting their money. It may create an opportunity for conversation for your sales staff with your customers, and develop a sense of gratitude from your customers as they feel both informed and helped by your business during their in-store experience.

We’d love to help you brainstorm more ways to maximize your digital signage. Reach out and we’ll chat!
