Client Spotlight: The Renaissance Theatre

CCook

Our clients are constantly innovating and finding new and creative ways to use digital signage in ways that make sense for their industry. In this spotlight, we’ll be featuring the Renaissance Theatre, our area’s historic theatre and performing arts center.

The Renaissance Theatre, which originally opened in 1928, has more than 30,000 people come through its doors each season for a range of arts and entertainment events. With a small staff, great communication is key. That’s why the Renaissance is utilizing Retriever Digital Signage both inside and out!

The Renaissance Theatre Concessions Stand

The theatre’s concession stand features Retrievers as its digital menus. If you run out of a product, you can quickly and instantly update your menu – saving disappointment and frustration in the concessions line. In fact, we created several slide templates for the Renaissance for this exact purpose!

Throughout the theatre, you can find digital signage showcasing upcoming shows, thanking sponsors, and showcasing images from recent productions. They have placed multiple screens throughout their lobby spaces as well as inside the theatre so that patrons can easily follow along with this in-house advertising during wait times.

The theatre’s marquee is also utilizing the Retriever platform powering a digital outdoor sign! Since the Renaissance often has several upcoming production, this means that their outdoor marquee can feature many upcoming shows, not just one. Additionally, hours are saved each week by digitally updating the sign rather than manually placing letters onto a traditional marquee.

We’re proud to have the Renaissance Theatre as a client because they’ve found multiple ways to incorporate digital signage to grow their organization and communicate with their customers. We’d love to help you invent new and creative ways to leverage your Retrievers to go to work for you – let us know how we can help!
