Retriever Digital Signage has created the global slide feature that allows you to manage the same slide across multiple screens with ease. Once you’ve created a slide, hit the three-dot menu on the bottom right, and select “make slide global” to add the slide to your global slide menu. Navigate to the “My Global Slides” tab to see a gallery of all your global slides. Select the slide you want to add to multiple playlists, then, on the right side of the screen, select each playlist you want to add it to. Navigate back to this menu at any time to see which playlist you have included a global slide on. Any change you make to a global slide will apply to all instances of the slide across your playlists. This includes edits to the slide settings, as well as scheduling or publishing the slide.
If you want to make a change to a global slide, but you only want that change to be applied on one specific screen, navigate to that screen’s playlist. Here, select the three-dot menu on the slide of your choice, then select “Separate Slide.” This allows you to apply changes to the slide without it changing across all of your screens.
