Video is the Future

CCook

You may have noticed that there has been a major shift on social media in the past year or two. Where you once saw mostly words, then mostly pictures, now your feeds are full of video.

Moving images are without a doubt the most captivating way to grab the attention of your audience, whether it be through a GIF, a quick video on a cell phone, or a produced masterpiece. In fact, online video accounts for 74% of all online traffic (KPCB, 2017) and video is far more likely to increase conversions than any other tool (EyeView 2017).

When it comes to your Retriever Digital Signage, they come equipped with video support, sound on or off, as the main event or as a moving background. Our company, DRM Productions, is well known for our expertise in video creation and we’d love to help you create impactful videos, but we also realize that not every video need requires a full production capability.

Here are a few resources for integrating video into your digital marketing strategy and your Retriever Digital Signage:

Animoto, http://animoto.com/

This affordable tool allows you to quickly set a tone and clip together images, text and videos to tell a story through video. The software is online and easy to use, and the pricing is inexpensive.

Pexels, https://videos.pexels.com/

Pexels offers a library of free stock videos, which can really come in handy if you’re trying to illustrate a quick message or simply looking for a new slide background and don’t want to drop a lot of money. What’s nice is their search engine is also linked with Shutterstock, so if you don’t find what you want for free, you can see what paid options are also available without having to start your search over.
